Yesterday, the Centre held its first in a series of regional sensitisation workshops with National Designated Authorities (NDAs), GCF Focal Points, National Coordinators and EU GCCA+ National Project Coordinators funded by the Green Climate Fund. The objective of the session was to sensitise participants on CCCCC’s policies and procedures pertaining to Project Management, Procurement, and Financial Management and to provide an opportunity for knowledge exchange/networking across countries/organisations/project partners.

During the 4-hour session, the Centre’s Procurement, Finance and Project Management Units presented on several policies and procedures to over 50 participants including reporting requirements for the Green Climate Fund. It is expected that the knowledge shared will assist the NDA’s and Focal points to not only develop a deeper understanding but also to further strengthen the partnership between the Centre and the member states.

The Centre remains committed to its vision of a resilient and sustainable Caribbean for all as it continues to work with member states and partner with donors such as the GCF as the Region continues to adapt to the adverse effects of climate change.
