This week, during COP 26, Executive Director of the CCCCCs, Dr Colin Young met briefly with two member countries of Nordic to explore bilateral relationships on behalf of CARICOM in the areas of environment, energy, and climate change. 

Nordic countries are a geographical and cultural region in Northern Europe and the North Atlantic and members include Norway, Finland, Sweden, Iceland and Denmark. 

In separate meetings Dr Young met with Climate Ambassador, Tomas Anker Christensen of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of Denmark, as well as Jan Walberg, Climate Ambassador of the government of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
