The Guarini Center for Environmental, Energy and Land Use Law seeks to hire a full-time Fellow to conduct policy-relevant research, writing and outreach related to innovation in the development of international environmental law concerning plastic pollution.

The Guarini Center, housed at NYU School of Law, is an academic and policy research center that advances innovative environmental policies to support the transition towards a sustainable, low-carbon economy.  The Fellow will assist with our research efforts to develop policy and regulatory frameworks for reducing plastic waste through international law, particularly in small islands and other low-lying regions. Much of the work will be conducted in coordination with the small island developing states (SIDS) and will support their participation in international environmental negotiations.
