Do you wonder what earth looks like at night from space?
In April 2017 Scientists from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the USA produced a global map of the world at night. This nighttime look at earth is called the Black Marble, and gives researchers a look at human activities around the globe. By studying Earth at night, researchers can investigate how cities expand and monitor light intensity so that they can estimate how much energy is used, our human economic activity as well as to aid in disaster response.
